Privacy Policy

Effective Date: 10th August 2025.

Last Reviewed: August 2026

Applies to: farmingexperts.org and all donation transactions processed by Farming Experts Network (“FEN,” “we,” “us,” or “our”)

1. Donation Refund Policy

Farming Experts Network relies on the generosity of donors to fund our workshops, training programs, market intelligence services, and farmer support initiatives. We are committed to handling every donation with integrity and transparency.

1.1 General Policy

Donations made to Farming Experts Network are generally non-refundable, as funds are often allocated to ongoing programs shortly after receipt. However, we recognize that mistakes happen, and we want every donor to feel confident giving to us.

1.2 When a Refund May Be Issued

We will consider a refund request in the following circumstances:

  • Duplicate donation — you were accidentally charged more than once for the same gift.
  • Incorrect amount — a technical error caused you to donate more than you intended.
  • Unauthorized transaction — the donation was made without your authorization (e.g., card fraud).
  • Processing error — a verified error on our end (e.g., a failed transaction that still charged your account).

1.3 How to Request a Refund

  • Refund requests must be submitted in writing to oludotun@farmingexperts.org within 14 calendar days of the donation date.
  • Please include your name, transaction date, amount, and payment reference/receipt number.
  • Approved refunds will be processed within 10–15 business days to the original payment method.

1.4 Non-Refundable Circumstances

Refunds will generally not be issued for:

  • Change of mind after funds have already been allocated to a program.
  • Donations made more than 14 days prior to the request.
  • Recurring donations that were not cancelled prior to the next billing cycle (see Cancellation Policy below).

2. Cancellation Policy (Recurring Donations)

For donors who choose to give on a recurring (monthly/annual) basis:

2.1 Cancelling a Recurring Donation

  • You may cancel a recurring donation at any time by contacting oludotun@farmingexperts.org or via your donor account, if applicable.
  • Cancellation requests must be submitted at least 3 business days before the next scheduled billing date to prevent that cycle’s charge.

2.2 Full Refund for Timely Cancellation

  • If you cancel before a scheduled charge is processed, no charge will occur.
  • If a charge is processed due to a cancellation request submitted after the cut-off above, but before the funds have been disbursed to a program, you are entitled to a full refund of that specific charge. Submit your request within 14 days as outlined in Section 1.3.

2.3 Effect of Cancellation

  • Cancelling a recurring donation does not affect donations already disbursed to active programs.
  • You will receive a confirmation email once your recurring donation has been successfully cancelled. Please retain this for your records.

3. Terms and Conditions for Payment
